Heard from a colleague today, concerning the train drivers' strike :

'So, if they're asking for a four day week, does that mean that on the fifth day we'll have to make our own way to work?'

Well, it did come from the same person who, some months ago, asked to a roomful of very proper, very dignified people what 'to emasculate' meant.
