Paging Dr Freud

I wonder what it means.
See, blogpeople, it’s like this: my Special Lady Friend reads a lot, and I happen to have a large book collection, which I’m more than happy to share. When she’s done with one book, she brings it back and leaves it on the little table by the sofa.

I wonder why, since she got it from the bookshelf herself. It’s not like my bookshelves are so tidy that one dares not put a book back or anything.

Is there an implicit message?
Does she wish to engage me in some in-depth literary conversation?
Is it an attempt at eliciting approval of some kind?
And what is the best way to respond?

How I enjoy creating small pseudo-psychological enigmas for myself!

This post has:

1) made me laugh out loud.

2) confirmed my long held belief in just how complicated women can be.

;0)

Hmmm? *strokes pretend beard*
Has Dr. Freud got a friend?
Do the words in italics have their own meaning?
(Notice 'approval' isn't in italics.)

btw, there is an easy (and truthful answer) but I'll leave you to enjoy your pseudo-psychlogical enigma for a while :-)

Kiera - there are complicated women and then there is y. A whole new level of complicated.

If I left your book on the table, I would just want you to know I finished reading it. Kind of like....thanks for the book.

Lazy Cow?

Depends how it works in your house. Like, if you want someone to do the washing, do you politely leave a sock on the kitchen floor?

If my ex wanted the bedroom tidying, she'd leave one of those tin-foil curry containers on the bed....

'A whole new level of complicated'....said one gemini about the other....! ;0)

She just sounds (cough) lazy to me. She wants YOU to put it back. :>

She just didnt want to mess up your books by putting it back in the wrong place on the shelf or she's lazy. Or she just wanted to watch you bending over to put it back :-)

Right you lot.
Once and for all, I am NOT lazy !! I leave the book on the table so y knows I have brought it back and not stolen it !!!
Although Jamie, I do have to admit to liking watching y bend over to put it back. Gives me goosebumps even thinking about it. :-)
