Of course, cynicism aside, I'm all in favour of lesbian visibility and should that program ever be aired in Britain I'll make a point of watching it.
On the same note, there was a rather wonderful article in the Observer this Sunday. The American bisexual society (or some such) is delighted by the increase in bisexuality in the US teen-age, thanks to Britney/Xtina/Madonna. Obviously the American Family Assoc say this is a disgrace! Both I (and the observer) agree that there is no rise in bisexuality that can be correlated with britney etc... the only rise is in the teenage pants of the boyfriends of the dopey girls snogging their bestfriends after excessive consumption of alcopops.
